DEVOTED

What comes into thoughts when I say, “top priority”? We are all sooooooooo busy. I have a tendency to treat my wife as the one that will never leave me, nor forsake me. I run to the needs of others and sometimes forget to run to my spouse’s needs. She is the one person in my life that just wants me for me. I must make a cognitive decision to turn my phone off and have a conversation with my spouse, plan time to stay available to her, and make myself unavailable to everyone else. I must be intentional about devoting attention to my wife in order to make sure she knows she is my “top priority.”
Today, set aside purposeful time for your “top priority” with no distractions or excuses. Be truly devoted to one another in love.
