HIGH ALERT

Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings. And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. To him be the power for ever and ever. Amen.

The closer we draw towards God, the more Satan tries to attack us. Evil can appear in so many forms. The lies the enemy is trying to feed us can sometimes appear to be good. We must pray and ask God for discernment. If you stand firm in your faith and put your trust in God you can withstand the devil and all of his evil plans.
In today’s world it is so hard to discern what we should believe and what we should not believe, but we must pray and put our trust in God. 1 John 4:4 tells us “You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.” (NKJV) This verse is a reminder that if God is within us then we have nothing to fear because He has already overcome the evil of this world! God has the power forever and ever. He will make you strong!
