TIL THE DAY I DIE

By: Pam Gray

Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and professed a good profession before many witnesses.

1 Timothy 6:12 KJV

I KEEP SWINGIN’ FOR THE FENCES
IT’S LIKE THIS HEART IS DEFENSELESS
AGAINST THE PASSION THAT’S PUMPIN’ THROUGH MY VEINS
BLOOD, SWEAT, TEARS, IT’S A CALLIN’
AND IF I CAN’T WALK, THEN I’M CRAWLIN’
IT MIGHT FLICKER, BUT THEY CAN’T KILL THE FLAME
I CAN’T STOP I CAN’T QUIT
IT’S IN MY HEART IT’S ON MY LIPS
…. TIL THE DAY I DIE*

I know—Toby Mac, right?! Coming from a 61-year-old, this song selection might seem strange, but this song so expresses my love and need for God. I can’t imagine ever not loving Him, depending on Him, sharing the good news of Him. I truly can’t fathom how to live in this world without Him. I strive to fight the good fight of faith, to be a witness for Him in my words and deeds, and one day to live eternally with Him.
