I SERVE A BIG GOD

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Isaiah 55: 8-9 NIV
God’s ways are higher. You will constantly live in turmoil when you try to convince God that your way is better. God does not want to see things from our perspective; He wants us to see things from His.
God is not strong; He is all-powerful. God is not smart; He possesses all wisdom.
He is not defined; He is indescribable. His ways are past or beyond finding out. There is nothing to compare to Him. He is holy, which means “other” or “set apart.” Although He is beyond our logic, we can still know Him. We know Him through His Word, His ways, and His love.
God has placed His love upon us. He initiated the process through His purchase with His only Son. Our God is a big God! If God is so small that you can understand Him, then He is too small to worship!
