CYBERCHONDRIAC

A “Cyberchondriac” is a person who searches the Internet for information about real or imagined symptoms of illness. Bound by fear and paranoia, they are never at peace. Misappropriated faith believes something bad is going to happen even when it’s not.
Fear binds without cords. Fear produces pain with no injury. It is not wrong to question your mental or physical health, but this cannot consume your life. You will find yourself not living when you could, because you thought you couldn’t. The Word of God assures us that we do not have to be victims of tormenting fears. Fear is satanic in nature, and dishonoring towards God‘s sovereignty. Your life does not have to be controlled by the fear of death. Jesus broke that stronghold! When the diagnosis is fear, the treatment is faith, and the cure is Christ.
