Blessed are they who observe justice, who do righteousness at all times!
Psalm 106:3 ESV

When life doesn't make sense, remain faithful. As you are faithful, life will be fruitful. One man said, “I know God put me here, I just wonder if he remembers where he put me?”
Alexander Solzhenitsyn was Russian novelist and outspoken critic of communism, raising awareness of tyranny within his own country. In a Russian prison camp, he contemplated taking his own life, but his faith would not allow it. Under great mental stress he thought, “I’ll just run and the guards will shoot me, then it will be over.”
He positioned himself in front of a guard. As he was about to flee, a new prisoner stepped in front of him and drew a cross with a stick. It stopped him in his tracks. The image of the cross was haunting. He realized his own selfishness. Three days later, he was released with no explanation, unaware that people all over the world had been praying for him. He became a qualified voice for global injustice. In 1970, he received the Nobel Prize for literature.
“A man is happy so long as he chooses to be happy and nothing can stop him.” (Alexander Solzhenitsyn)
