PERFECT PEACE

In 2018, my husband and I walked a very sad and scary road. We learned we were expecting our third child and doctors told us he would not live past birth. Many even believed he’d pass away during the pregnancy.
We were devastated, but we knew the only place we wanted to be was in the presence of God. He was the only one that could bring peace and the only one that could heal our hearts. Boone was born on October 2, 2018. He was a beautiful, full-term baby and we were able to spend over three hours with him before he left us for the arms of Jesus.
This scripture carried me through many months of wondering what the day would hold for my family. This is the same scripture that carries me through each and every day that I miss Boone. Even in the times I feel broken, God’s peace is there to put me back together.
If there is chaos or uncertainty anywhere in your life, hand it to your Father today. He is there to put the pieces back together, bring order, and cover you with His perfect peace.
