According to the CDC, suicide is the 10th leading cause of death for people of all ages in the United States each year. This is something that impacts far more people than we probably realize, and suicide rates are highest in women between the ages of 45-64. It's an important discussion to have, and today we have the privilege of speaking with Lisa Bergman who lost her mother to this invisible mental illness. She helps bring some perspective to how suicide impacts the family and friends of its victims.
