THIS TIME I WILL PRAY

By: Pastor Bobbi Morgan

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. [Emphasis added.]

Philippians 4:6-7 ESV

This is one of my favorite scriptures and a great reminder to PRAY more than you talk about it. Our conversations usually consist of the current events that are happening in our lives. Have you ever found yourself telling personal details to complete strangers about a certain situation that has consumed your mind? Not in a God-honoring, “I am trusting God” kind of conversation, but more like the “I have lost all control” attitude. This is worry spilling out all over the poor soul who wishes they were in another checkout line. LOL.

I have found that when I am consumed with “said topic” it is a sure sign that I need to spend some time with the Lord in prayer. We may not see the immediate change, but we can find peace in knowing we can trust that God hears are prayers and answers them. So, if you are sounding like a device stuck on repeat, push the forward button with prayer TODAY!
