SCRABBLE
By: Dina Boitnott
Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you; for every one who is asking doth receive, and he who is seeking doth find, and to him who is knocking it shall be opened.
Matthews 7:8 KJV
My daughter recently downloaded an app on my phone so that I could play a Scrabble game with her called “Words with Friends.”
One day as I played the game, I looked at the letters that didn't seem to fit anywhere. As I was thinking there was nothing to be made with the mess I had been given, I thought of the Scripture referenced above. Although at first glance nothing made sense, the more I looked, the more I was able to make some things work.
I think in life we look at all the messy pieces and think there's nothing good to be made. But if we seek God first, everything else will fall into place and start to make sense. He will reveal his plan and direction as we first ask, seek, and knock.
Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you; for every one who is asking doth receive, and he who is seeking doth find, and to him who is knocking it shall be opened.
