BLIND SPOTS
By: Pastor Matt Morgan
…in order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes.
2 Corinthians 2:11 NIV
Last year I was able to buy a new truck—well, it was new to me. The previous owner was an elderly man, and there were a few scuffs on the corners. The interesting thing was that he had attached three blind spot mirrors in each side mirror. So including the backup camera and rear view mirror that’s a grand total of 10 mirrors! For what it’s worth, he was overly cautious when it came to blind spots.
We all have blind spots. A dear friend of mine made huge errors that cost his career because of blind spots. Blind spots can be our children, political affiliation, our race, or our opinion...
There will always be blind spots! So we must be receptive when it comes to help. Quit protecting what you’re unaware of. Don’t allow pride to keep help at bay.
Today, Ask God to reveal any blind spot that would hinder your walk with Him. If correction can be received, then righteousness can be redeemed.
