CONTRAFLOW

1 Thessalonians 5:22 NLT
The old King James word for abstain is “shun,” which means not to bow down to, or serve.
In September of 2019 hurricane Dorian devastated the Bahamas and wreaked havoc on America’s east coast. From Florida to North Carolina, coastal residents were ordered to evacuate. Highways that normally travelled north and south now only travelled north. Southbound traffic was redirected. All traffic was forced to travel away from the danger. This is called “contraflow.”
Remember Lot’s wife! (Luke 17:32 NIV)
History tells us that God also called for an evacuation from danger. God is continually steering us away from danger and into His safe arms. If you have bowed at the wrong altar, simply return, repent, and be renewed today. God still demands contraflow from evil and obedience towards his presence.
