NO GREATER LOVE

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
John 15:13 KJV
If you are like me, when I am with friends I feel confident to be myself; I feel empowered with the support of friends and feel I can accomplish almost anything. So, what can happen if all of sudden you're feeling deserted? This can happen to anyone. Have you ever been in a crowded room yet feel all alone? I recently went through a season that I could best describe as “all alone.” I have a wonderful family and a supportive husband, yet I found myself feeling deserted. Although it was obviously not true, the enemy was relentless in bringing thoughts and feelings of being abandoned and unloved.
As I began to call on the name of Jesus in prayer, He reminded me, “I am your friend. If it were just me and you, what could you do?” It was like fresh wind to my soul. Jesus’ love can empower us like no other friend. His love is greater and His friendship is everlasting. What a revelation! So simple yet so powerful. So remember, you’re never alone! You’ve got this and Jesus has got your back!
