I'M STILL HERE

Blessed are those who dwell in Your house; they will STILL be praising You.
Psalm 84:4 NKJV
Easy days make for easy praise. I believe we should walk in the absolute blessings of God. I truly believe God wants us to walk in complete freedom. I also believe in the trimming of unnecessary branches in our tree of life. God sees it all—those things that bring true blessing, and the things that distract us. Gaining is not always growing. “Having it ALL” doesn’t necessarily mean you have anything at all.
These “purging” experiences are never fun, but who said favor is always fun. Sometimes living in the favor of God brings you to overwhelming battlefields. You will be faced with giants of loss, enemies of joy, and foes of your faith. The word for life today is “STILL.”
Are you STILL determined to praise? Regardless of loss, are you STILL here, dwelling in His house? Regardless of bad friends, heartbreak, and disappointment, are you STILL here? Maybe you’ve been extremely successful—are you STILL here? You have everything you could ever want; you could almost do it on your own—are you praising Him STILL?
Today, regardless of your position in life, remember God still deserves your praise. In moments you feel He is holding you back, understand He is holding you. He is moving, always.
