SPIRIT WALK

Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Acts 2:38 NKJV
The Holy Spirit is the third person in the Godhead. He is the gift that keeps on giving. Jude 20 says “building yourself up in your most holy faith praying in the Holy Ghost.”
In the airport concourse there is an automated track that you can get on and walk. The track is moving and so are you. As you walk your walk, the track gets you there faster and farther than the effort you put forth. Praying in the Holy Spirit does the same thing—it takes us farther and faster than we realize.
The Holy Spirit is our Guide and Comforter; He directs our life even when we don’t realize it. When we are in alignment with the Spirit amazing opportunities come our way. Recently I could not get my garage door open—my car was trapped. Then I moved one of the little eyes at the base of the garage door to look at the eye on the other side of the door. When the eyes were in alignment, the door would open and close. When we are in alignment with the Holy Spirit doors open that need to be opened and closed that need to be closed. Lord, help us today to stay aligned with your Spirit.
