GOOD FRUIT

By: Lee Sandlin

Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.
‭‭
Matthew‬ ‭7:17‬ ‭NIV

The final stage of maturity for a tree is fruit bearing. When everything comes together (light, rain, good soil), a fruit tree will bear good fruit. Much like us as Christians, when we are rooted in the Word, drinking living water, and walking in God’s light, we will begin to bear good fruit.

Fruit is tangible—it can be tasted and seen. Today, go out and share the love of Jesus in practical, tangible ways—like volunteering at a soup kitchen or retirement home, sign up to go on a mission's trip, etc. Go and bear good fruit!
