TRUSTWORTHY

Trust in Him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us. Selah
Psalm 62:8
I recently started a Bible study by Lysa Terkeurst entitled “Trustworthy”. She asked the question: is there an area in your life that is complicated to trust God? I thought long and hard and came to this conclusion-- I am like most Christians and I want to believe that I trust God with all things, but having patience for the outcome is where I fall short. After more thought, I came to a different conclusion. Trusting God gets more complicated for me when things do not turn out with the outcome that I expected. I struggle to see how God could possibly get the glory out of these circumstances; after all it is not what I wanted and usually comes with grief, heartache and some kind of pain.
Trusting God means believing He will keep His promise to us, even when things don’t make sense. Trust is a choice to believe what His word says. Give God time! Ecclesiastes 3:11 says, “He makes all things beautiful in His time.” If you are reading this your story is not over. Today, God, we CHOOSE to trust YOU at all times!
