IDENTITY CRISIS

A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.

We live in a world that struggles with identity. Social media didn’t create this problem; it simply made the problem far more public. Growing up, I think everyone has dreams of becoming someone notable. Then, when people get older and bogged down by the trappings of life, they long to be someone else.
The truth is, Jesus never wanted us to be identified by our job title, financial status, or rank in popular culture. Rather, Jesus wanted us to be identified simply by our love for one another, to shine His love as a beacon to the world. Get back to your identity in Christ today and find ways to LOVE those around you.
