ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE

Our enemy, the devil, is really good at pointing out our faults, lack, loss, and anything that will cause our head to hang low. The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:8, “whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think on these things.”  

What do you have to praise God for today? Our perspective changes when we start thanking him for all the good things He has given us. I know there can be times when the attack seems to never end, and the loss is overwhelming. This feeling of doom can be magnified during the holidays when the focus is family and fun. 2 Corinthians tells us not to lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, inwardly we are being renewed day by day. These troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. We should fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. What we see is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.  

Speak life over yourself today. Choose to speak the good, see the good, and do good. Watch your attitude of gratitude spread like wildflowers all around you!
