GOD > FLESH

For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.
Romans 7:18 KJV
In this verse, Paul discovers that nothing good comes from our flesh. Bad things are always going to be there, but we must keep ourselves from it. Whenever we put confidence in our flesh alone, we will fall short. When we begin to live our lives with Jesus at the center, we have the power to overcome our flesh. As Abraham Lincoln once said, “Without the assistance of the Divine Being... I cannot succeed. With that assistance, I cannot fail." God can do it!
