FAITH
By: Whitney Huff
And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.
Hebrews 11:6 NASB
Faith is an essential part of our walk with the Lord. And because of this, faith is also one of the most-attacked parts of our relationship with Him. Losing just a small portion of our faith in Him and His word is detrimental to us. Letting the enemy have any type of foothold is dangerous territory to walk in.
When everything doesn’t seem to go the way we expect or want it to go, we tend to automatically question God. I know in my own life I like to think I’m in total control of every situation, and when the outcome is not what I expected, I panic.
This scripture has a particular comma that I think can be easily overlooked. This comma comes here: for he who comes to God must believe that He is, . . .” I believe this comma is here to make us stop and realize that it is pointing out the fact that He is everything, which in turn means His plan and outcome for our life is perfect and everything. Keep strong in your faith that He has got it.
Jesus, I trust You. I have complete faith in you and your word. Help me in times of stress not to let the enemy speak words of doubt over me. You are my hope and my strength. Above all else I will seek You. I love you, Father. Amen.
