BEING SPECIAL
By: Grace Huff
(With all our kids heading into a new school year, I wanted to share a devotion written by my daughter, Grace. I hope this is a reminder to you today to pray for our kids, their hearts toward our King, and the unique plan God has for each of their lives. I hope this blesses your heart like it blessed mine! -Pastor Brian)
“But now, O LORD, You are our Father, We are the clay, and You our potter; And all of us are the work of Your hand.”
Isaiah 64:8 NASB
This scripture means a lot to me. It is about how God makes everyone special and different. Even though some people are twins, they are still made different by God to be their own special person. Jesus made us different so we could all do amazing things for Him. Everybody should feel good about themselves because God made them! Even though you don’t feel good all the time, you can believe in yourself because God made you just the way you are! God loves us no matter what and believes we can do amazing things.
Dear Jesus, thank You for making us special and all different. Thank You for believing in us and helping us do special things for You. I love You. Amen.
