HE KNOWS

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. (Isaiah 41:10 NIV)
When you’re going through a difficult time, nothing means more than having someone come alongside who understands what you’re going through. “My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death” (Matthew 26:38 NIV)
My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? (Matthew 27:46 NIV)
These were the words of Jesus during painful times in his life and he knew the sting of sorrow and loneliness. “Jesus wept” is the shortest verse in the Bible (John 11:35). This two-word passage from the story of Lazarus reminds us that Jesus truly understands what pain is like for us, that he experienced grief. No matter what you’re going through, you have a God who is “intimately acquainted” with all your ways (Psalm 139:3 NASB).
So remember that He wants to bring comfort to your pain. Allow God to fill you with strength to withstand whatever comes your way today!
