"Even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve...Outreach and servanthood is part of our identity as a church family at Fellowship of Praise Church. There are multiple ways to plug in and serve both inside and outside our church walls. After going through FOP Connect, it is our goal to help each member of our church family get connected to a ministry where their gifts and talents can be used and grown. Below is a list of active ministry areas within our church. To get involved in any of these areas, fill out an Info Form, indicate which areas you are most interested in getting connected with, and a leader from that ministry will reach out to you with next steps and training opportunities!

Be the reason someone feels at home at FOP Church! Our amazing Greeter Team welcomes guests with a warm smile and an encouraging 'hello' before each service. If you love making people feel valued and connected, this is the perfect team for you!

Usher Team

Led by Lisa Bergman
Join our Usher Team and help create a welcoming, distraction-free worship experience! Led by Lisa Bergman, this team assists guests with seating, facilitates the offering, and ensures a safe and secure environment for everyone. If you have a heart for hospitality and want to make a meaningful impact, this is the team for you!

Altar Team

Be a part of life-changing moments by joining our Altar Team! This trained and vetted team wears red lanyards each Sunday and is available to pray with others before, during, and after service. If you have a heart for prayer and want to help others grow spiritually, this is the perfect place for you!

Media Team

Use your creativity and technical skills to bring the Gospel to life by joining our Media Team! From running sound and lighting to operating cameras and live streaming services, this team helps create an atmosphere where people can experience the love of Christ—both in-house and online. Whether it’s displaying lyrics, capturing sermons, or producing podcasts, you’ll play a vital role in spreading God’s message. 

Coffee Station

Led by  Bonnie Cochran 
Help make Sundays feel like home by joining our Coffee Team! This team keeps the coffee hot and ready, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for everyone who walks through the doors. If you love serving others with a smile (and a cup of coffee), this is the perfect place for you!

REACH Team

Led by RaSheena Barnes 
Be a part of impacting lives by joining our Outreach & Events Team! This team plans and executes events throughout the year, creating opportunities to reach the hurting and serve our community. At FOP Church, we love to give, and this team helps make that mission a reality. If you have a passion for serving and bringing people together, we’d love to have you on board!

Benevolence

Led by Bev Nunley
This team serves those who are mourning by providing a meal during their time of loss for funerals and services. This team is also called upon to help provide food for various church events and needs. When someone has a surgery, unexpected family emergency, or the birth of a child, this team also helps to provide some meals as well.

Security Team

Led by Tom Bloomburg
Do you have a heart for keeping people safe and a calm presence under pressure? The Security Team helps create a welcoming and secure environment during services and events at FOP Church. Whether it’s keeping an eye out for safety concerns or assisting with emergencies, this team plays a vital role in caring for our church family.
